I wish the nesis maps were more accurate. So many storms where far more fell than the maps show. Very white washed pun intended

its all we have right now...the January 1966 storm had a similar track and both storms had some warmer air mix in at the height of the storm...

They should use more contours, I feel the snow accumulation categories are currently too coarse

Love seeing the snow in the south with these historic events

Boxing Day was so awesome- we moved into Colt Neck on Dec 10th and got wrecked on Dec 26th.

Close to 30 inches.

The banding collapsing over me was amazing

The radar of that storm was beastly.

I was in Piscataway at the time and got somewhere around 25".  It was hard to measure though.  I swear one hour of that storm I measured 5".  Where I live now, only 15 miles west, only got 4".  I would have went nuts.

Josh called me on Christmas Eve morning and was excited to see the GFS show a hit. He then called me back saying that they threw out the gfs.

Looking at Feb 94 you come to really appreciate just how important the 50 50 low is for East coat snow

So much potential

This would have been the greatest if it was just 100 miles east.

Remember the low that morning was 5.

We probably would have snowed at 15 all day

Prob 150 miles - everyone gets 3 feet
