New York City was supposed to get 12 to 18 inches of snow but the storm had trouble developing and only an inch fell throughout the day and then by 5 PM it started to get heavier. It got heavier night and slowed down to light to moderate snow in the next day it was snowing in LaGuardia airport I believe had 13 of 14 inches but New York City Central Park only had 7.7 and they were definitely the low measurement. And that was a problem that whole entire winter.my video of the storm...
December 24, 2025Dec 24 I will never forget the snowstorm of 2/26-27 2010 with the heavy snow and lightning coming in bands from the northeast. This day I’ve never seen anything like that. When I was living in Rego Park Queens I got 20 inches

At one point, ACY had snow and DXR had rain.

December 26, 2025Dec 26 This was from the March 2017 storm which gave me maybe an inch or so of snow in the beginning and the rest was all sleet. This ended up freezing afterwards and it was like concrete and there was some huge snow piles in parking lots. I was living in Pelham Bay Bronx at the time, that is the Buhure Ave train station on the number 6 line.

On New Year's Eve, the day after, I was at my best friend's house 2 doors down from where I grew up. 18 inches on the ground in Howell, NJ. One of the dudes at the party was diving into the snow drunk and shirtless. Later that night after that, just inside the house this time, the girls there at the party were also drunk and shirtless. Lol, good times.
December 31, 2025Dec 31 The millennium storm had the most explosive snow cyclogenesis I’ve ever seen on radar. It went from absolutely nothing to filled with heavy snow within a couple of hours. Amazing storm
January 6Jan 6 30th Anniversary of the best of the best! I was surprised to see Rockland County lead NY in snow totals since I’m basically almost always screwed. I recall roughly 30 inches by me and I’m about 10 miles or so east of Suffern so the amount seems to make sense. Hope we can replicate something close this winter
