Oh that one, I had like 6 inches of fluff, which would have been a nice snowstorm, but not when you're forecasted to get 2-3 feet, lol

Still haven't fully forgiven the Euro for that. Less than 24 hours before Juno, 27 inches imby was in the EURO 10:1 output. It was like reliving March 2001 all over again nearly 14 years later but worse since March 2001 was in March and Juno was in January.

At least we had a great pattern after that.

I’m still wondering how nyc biggest storm is 2016. While most people remember 1996 instead

2016 melted away that afternoon lol

It was also within a disgustingly warm winter that most of us would want to forget

That storm was particularly egregious just to the west of the Hudson.

I got lucky and got 4 or 5 inches that afternoon from a rogue horizontal band before the main show which let me hobble my way to a foot of snow.

I got that same band but then only an inch or two more.

the signs were there but most of us didn't see it. EURO/NAM were on the only ones that far west-everything else was east which made sense given the Miller B nature of the storm...got about 10 inches here but it was from a lucky band not much from the actual storm

the AO was plus 5sd for the storm...that's why I didn't think huge snow...
