For an X1.99 Flare? If true this is scary boys means our magnetosphere has weakened tremendously!! This If it were an X10 or teh x16 that occurred last month on the far side of the sun well we'd be in serious technological and electrical problems. Watch for satellite issues with navigation and telecommunications. Alas, it will charge any weather systems with its protons induced storms, strengthen them and usually cause them to move poleward.
