    That is the best of both worlds. You get the Nina cold air and the Nino southern jet!

    1982-83 was a super Nino that was not that bad of a winter.

    You can see this happening on the long range ensembles - note how much the blue near the Aleutians sinks southward at the end of this morning's EPS run.
