    The airport here measured 1.5" of snow last night into today and melted equivalent was 0.03"

    I guess that's what happens when it snows between 7 and 13 degrees.

    0Z EPS and AI EPS likes the post-Christmas period for snow around here as the central United States has a very large positive 850 mb temperature anomalies at the same time.

    Agreed. I'm disappointed in him because we never do that stuff when he snows and we don't..

    Anyway Joe, the NAO will go negative around the 21st during the warmup period and I suspect that the period between Christmas and New Years may offer 1 more shot at winter weather to finish up December
