Probably just heavy R

Could be one of those convective lines with strong wind and no thunder?

This is what happens when Canada is cold and cold air is on this side of the pole. During our warm pattern, the NBM has a low of 10 here Friday!

The multi day 100° heat that Many had here right after the summer solstice in June 2025 was a good analog for cold and snow this December. I don’t know why this is but it does work out very well as an analog perhaps the highest verification of any other analog.

Watch out for the Dec 27-29th timeframe

But Monday - Thursday its going to feel and look like winter

Id kill for 2 inches of rain right now. Tired of dry lake beds every summer. Been that was here since 2021. Brutal never ending dry spell.

You do realize we're 0.25" ABOVE normal for the year on precip?

But it's perfectly normal in December to get snow followed by rain.

One of my top analogs for this winter is 2013-14. We had a very similar snow event at this same date and a week later, it was 72 and raining.
It happens. We don't live in Central Canada or above 10,000 feet.

no they are right, the new jersey people have been getting screwed for the last few years while I get accumulations, so it was like me saying to them, big deal so you finally got snow, it will be washed away by end of the week, but I am truly happy for all especially the central and southern NJ people and especially my buddy @metfan88

I have the Ikon too. Pissed away a grand on it. Every resort in the west is doing awful right now.

Cant wait yo go to Winter Park in Feb to ski on ribbons of ice surrounded by frozen mud and rocks. Probably gonna cancel my trips to Steamboat in March and Copper and Abasin too.

Do you really believe they won't have snow by February?
That would be the first time in history. Other than being depressed and miserable, do you have any decent reasoning for that?
