Just hit 11.3. I had a few gusts, but strongest was 25. Nothing too bad

To see one of these Dec 15th or before is rare. To see both of them at the same time is historic.

This is the most snow I’ve seen by this time since December 2003.

I guarantee you if you look up past records for your area this may be only the second or third time this has happened in over 60 years.

Day 5 - 10 Is BN now in the NE

As long as there's a - WPO those d 10 - 15 torches will continue to look suspect

Eventually we warm but those warm crew busted 5 straight weeks in a row

To summarize December for my location thru today. One day with high over 40F (40.3F on 12/1), 2 days with lows under 10F (4.8F on 12/9 was low), 5 measurable snow events, 10.1" total. A fantastic start to winter! Off to Tampa for a few days (last work trip of year) and only going to be in low 70s there.

look decent temp wise-hopefully we can squeeze out another frozen event before month end

In fact the December 28, 1990 storm dropped 7 inches by me and that was at that time the biggest December snowstorm since December 11 and 12 1960.

This is rare territory.

Dec 5, 2002 had eight inches where I lived.

It's looking more and more like it may be a 3-5 day extreme warm up vs a two week torch.

And look what's in Alberta getting ready to come down for the New year!
