Because it's not really a "cutter". It's more like a big clipper that goes to the north. It never tapped the Gulf.

Look at what happened out here today. This is a one day cold shot. The next 10 look fairly warm, maybe some sneaky cold on Sunday, but anyway, it went from 36 to 19 in 4 hours!

The CMC has the entire country cold by 12/27-28. Do you actually look at the run or just push "Total snowfall"?
