Guess i have about half inch. With all the blowing hard to tell

Mentioned to one of my Pittsburgh TV met friends that the over/under with today is going to be 1" at the airport.

Really coming down now. Probably close to a half inch here as well.

I would bet under at airport. But definitely your way could go over an inch. I don't think I'll make an inch as the steady snow has just become light scattered flurries.

Radar filling in again across E OH/W PA.

Central Park total snow:

12Z EPS (1.5 inches)

12Z ECMWF AI ensembles (6 inches)

The reason for such a split is that the AIFS-ENS are showing more of a east coast height response to the Greenland block, compared to the regular EPS/IFS late-December. The AIFS-ENS scenario seems more likely at the moment, given how strong the block is modeled to be, & given the persistent past tendency with the EPS/IFS this month to overestimate ridging across the Northeast.

Looks like it. Nice. I am stuck in dry area that doesn't want to fill in. Wouldn't doubt NE Quarter of AGC someone sees over 2 inches

Seeing reports of hail with this small line.

That line was about 3 minutes of mod rain and now sun out

Severe indeed

I assume it’s hail coming down and some gusty winds.
