with these types of storms, i start out with snow, transition to sleet then some freezing rain or rain at the end, would say for early December, 75% frozen, 25% liquid if it happens

These are just not snows here yet.

What a great pattern from the OHV Interior NE and all of New England except the Cape.

a little snow to rain this time of year is ok...in December 1995 we already had a storm that started as rain and ended as snow...then we got a snow changing to rain event...then another snow to rain event before the 19-20th snowstorm...there has been a lot of snowstorms around the 19th over the years...the 26th is another date with even bigger snowstorms...if faze 8 is real this year maybe this year will be next to snow on these dates...

We have 5 days to get a couple miles press with each run.

I don't see why this CAN'T snow on the coast, as always on the shore we need some luck on our side.

Otherwise I'd average 60 inches a season.

I would be looking for 2 things that can help you and I

One would obviously be some LL cold air press that the models will not see until 3 to 4 days out

And two if we keep crashing vorts in out W it could dampen the heights and keep the easterlies at bay for a bit.

I carved out Dec 1 - Jan 15

There are no changes to the overall period.

Anybody have the 12z ICON?

Happy turkey day all

Happy Thanksgiving to everybody here and their families.

If I could get a slushy inch or two next week I would be absolutely thrilled. Things are moving along great and this December could be the snowiest since December 2020.

Looks like snow showers heading in shortly to make it festive.
