There's no mechanism for the coast to accumulate.

 

If the precip rushes in maybe theres a short burst of snow but its going to 40 degrees along the immediate shorelines.

 

We nailed the timing of this pattern.

 

And as far I can see the weekend of the 6th - 8th should be watched.

I am still thinking up here for a 1 to 3 inch snow thump to sleet, then rain for the Dec 2-3 period, further north could be a 6 to 12 inch deal
