Just need some storms to go along with it otherwise it will be cold and dry. Most models seem dry as of now

Hopefully the models start popping storms

fairly dry with cold temperatures can still produce some snow...Dec 1955 was the driest on record with 1/4 of inch of precip for the month...it snowed 2-3" on the 22nd with very cold temps...this is not 1955 so we should get more precip...1983 had a big Grinch storm on the 22nd...but it did snow an inch on the 24th...83 was wet...it was the wettest Dec on record...the driest Dec had more snow than the wettest Dec in NYC for a did you know moment...

Looks like a lot of lake effect/northern stream systems that dry up more east of the mountains.

Was dry as f last year but still ended up N of 20” for the season. Almost felt normal.

PIT averages 7.7" of snow in December - the 3.8" logged yesterday not only gets us halfway to average, but it is already the most amount of snow at PIT in Dec since 2020.

I remember a big snowstorm on Dec 17,2003 about 16 inches only to be wiped away on xmas eve with a soaking rainstorm, screaming southeast snow eater winds and temps in the mid 50s, i think the rainstorm was about 2 to 3 inches with snowmelt there was lots of flooding.

I just love that all of the warm December calls blew up in their faces.

Now they retreated to lack of snow on December 2nd.

Tell them to all step away.

When it comes to a white Christmas you have to be lucky..2009 blizzard on the 19th..very little left on the 24th.. 1998 very warm December but it snowed in the morning of the 24th ..guess if we can get anything on Christmas week its a bonus!

Many snow events are not even known until 3-4 days away. Are you telling me these tards think they know it will not snow for four weeks?

Their lives are so empty they circle jerk at any perceived bad news because they are skill less at life

I told the one guy on FB he could be sitting in a blizzard and angry that the 384 hour GFS is warm.
Those people really need a psychologist or to get laid, or maybe both.
