    That’s a good problem to have. Usually it’s the other way around, cold in the long range that doesn’t materialize or move up in time.

    Wont happen, but the GFS and ECMWF are close to a record low for Central Park next Monday.

    Absolutely. When are folks going to actually see what the trend has been since August? Peperpetual cold has been the name of the game since then. I have 5 months running BN here, until I actually see warmth I shall not entertain such. Not wishcasting but cognizant of what the pattern is telling, showing.

    This PNA spike is from MJO Phase 8, +TNH, Major N WPO, PDO rise and SOI crash a ~7-10 day lag - MJO phase 8 was Last week on the 3rd or 4th as is the SOI

    it was 5 degrees on 12/12/1988...turned out being the coldest for that winter...

    1968 was 9 on 12/10 for the coldest temp of that winter...

    Only time it snowed in 1988 mid December. Then some cheap shots
