If you are talking about Allegheny County, PA, the short range models from this morning showed little if any snow for today.

Yes, I am talking about what they were showing last night.

That does not mean snow for Allegheny County, PA, or it would have been snowing in NYC today.

Not that is matters, but down to 37 here.

My brother just sent me a pic of it snowing heavily at his house in the Kutztown area. He wanst expecting that

Took a drive towards Reading. Often time in these weather situations you'd find rain on the east side of the Blue mountains. Not today. Have picked up an inch plus today and still snowing. Snow on snow.

It was showing snow . If you can't count on a model in 6-12 hour lead time... Several models were showing snow here. NWS had discussion about the possibility for heavy snow here in early morning. Even 6z NAM showed snow in AGC.

I don't even care anymore. If it snows it snows. If it doesn't oh well.

The models are complete trash.

Icon and now gfs both give us barely anything now

Reading the discussion, the forecast was fraught with peril. You have strong SSW winds to begin with. Everyone knows how easy it is to get warm air to come up the east coast. It is the same west of the Appalachians. I'll assume that the wet bulb temperatures were not that different from the air temperature. Surface temperatures were forecast to be above freezing, and actually verified higher than the above freezing temperatures. So this shouldn't be an Earth shattering development.

That would make up for everything lol. However it’s bs. Crazy how it’s been ice cold for weeks below average temps but every time there is precip we rain. It’s a slap in the face.

The RGEM looked pretty good at the end of its range.

3 inches up in buds lake. Meanwhile I have a sloppy dusting temp 32.7
