The All-New Winter Banter Thread

Thanks. Yeah, the light says 2700k and I bought new ones from Amazon. Those seemed too yellow so thought maybe I'll try the 5000k, but those were wrong too. I'm taking the old light and making a Home Depot trip later to hopefully find the exact one.

2700k is what is supposed to be the traditonal incadecent bulb. Maybe the brand did a bad job of reproducing the color.

That is what I'm thinking happened. I'm going to try to get the same brand as the old one. So annoying

Bluewave getting exposed by NittanyWx is hilarious. He can’t answer why 4” in Central Park means something statistically and meteorologically & why he chose 4”, it’s comical.

Of course it's an arbitrary cutoff.

It also happens to be the normal snowfall for December.

Hoping the torch holds next week. I need to get the suspension amd steering gearbox done on my pickup.

Theres nothing left on the ball joins.

My first car was a manual transmission BMW 320i, I bought it with 104,000 miles on it lol 18 years old I didn't care how many miles it had

One of the first things I had to replace were the ball joints.

How many miles on the vehicle? Has to be over 100k if they are toast.

It’d be nice if 4” falls Sunday morning in Central Park to end the discussion and counting of days on it.

213k 06 Silverado

Got the cheapest but still decent ones on RockAuto. The engine is solid though. The tranny was rebuilt at 170k. Those GMT 800s are bulletproof.

The whole suspension on this is shot. It was an old farm truck but I got it on the cheap and I can replace everything myself. I refuse to spend 60-80k on the newer trucks out there. Id rather keep buying old ones.

It's all NYC or EWR, no other sites matter when it comes to the board statistical climatologist.

Exactly. They are the 2 worst sites imo. I've tried a few times with him, but his arrogance isn't worth my time. He thinks my climate is another world compared to NYC. Like wtf is that. I may average 1 more inch of snow yearly but since on clear nights I actually radiate, my stats im not allowed to compare
