Here we'll be in the 20s most nights. If you really need it that cold, you should move further north.
For me, I don't care. I'll save money on gas and enjoy it. I don't ***** about things I can't control.

I just want an average winter fir once. Is that too goddamn much ti ask for? The last 5 years have been pure torture. A living hell. I cant take it. It wasn't like this the first 7 years I lived here. Its just dry year round.

This upcoming El Nino better deliver precip here. I cant take this endless drought we've had for 5 years now. I need moisture.

That would mean we're due for it to change- just like the northeast had theirs this year, it was time.

I am at ten inches for the season. Average is 30ish. I don't think I'll make it, but I also don't think we're done getting snow.

Most models show cold air moving back after 2/20 and it's still very early in the season.
Of course, with the gradient, I have much better chances than you.

Its not even about snow at this point. Lake Mac is running at 40% this year. Most lakes tbat dont get urban storm runoff are running dry or dried up. We need a big wet year to make up for the massive deficit we've ran up since 2021.

I know up here there were several big rain events last summer just before I moved out.

I don't know what happened where you live, because I know summertime convection can be fickle.

But we finished just above normal precipitation here for 2025.

One summer cant make up for 5 years of nothing. We needed a solid winter with snow runoff and so far thats been a failure. Now we are dependent on spring rains and those haven't delivered much lately. Maybe an El Nino setting up will help but 2023-24 was an El Nino and that one was a failure in the moisture department.

Keeps getting pushed out we’ve gone from 2/11 ton2/16 not buying anything yet

How bad was CO?

@Snowlover76 I bought this beef to try out. I've never had grass fed beef before but it did have the dark red color you said is a sign of better ground beef so I gave it a shot.

I’m happy with the snow cover the past two weeks and so far where I live, I have 33 inches so I’m very happy with that. But it gets old without the snow. They get old after a while, not just from the cold, but because the dewpoint is so low, your skin dries up, no matter what kind of moisturizers you use.

The lower mountain where they have snowmaking was fair to good. Everything else god awful or closed.

I'd go with 85 for more flavor, but that looks good.

I've switched to 90 10 from using 80 20 most of my life and since I usually use it to make smash burgers I've found that I don't need all that extra fat.

If you take 85 on the grill, it probably melts enough to get it to like 88, but to me, it seems to have more flavor.

I think the cut of meat is probably more important.

I technically went from 80 20 ground chuck to 90 10 sirloin and the sirloin just tasted better, a much better beefier flavor.

Well yeah, if you do a better meat, it will always taste better.

I would kill for a 70° day right now to melt this disgusting dirty 8” frozen solid glacier. I LOVE snow. I can’t even walk on this and it pisses of the dogs.

Quite a stormy day across Hawai'i.

You sound ungrateful. I haven't had even an average winter in 5 years and here sone of you are complaining about cold and a snow pack.

Pathetic
