Post office is probably the worst. Yea they aren't a "govt department" but they get bailed out every few years. My mailman told me they have 1 supervisor for every 4 employees or something. But there's a ton of waste there from top heavy management that does nothing

Upton is a terrible WFO though. Omaha out here isn't much better.

The post office had a sign in the employee bathroom over the paper towel holder saying why use two when one will do… then they would spy on you from above…I know cause I worked for them 40 years ago…

My father worked at the Kearny post office for 25 years until he passed in 94.

OT but it's amazing they still have 6 day delivery to give us all junk mail that goes right into the trash....

Upton is much better than Omaha. The post office's problem is they have all these POs in the middle of nowhere.

Does every village with 12 people really NEED a post office, especially in this day and age?
How many customers do they have that actually buy stamps or money orders that can't go somewhere else?

Snowmegadon has been non existent since our big snowstorm on the 25-26. We have had models show big bangers in 5-6 day range only to have them dissappear for a variety of reasons for weeks now.

Disappointed and we are heading to a time of year when sun angle and isolation.the cold has been an A+ no doubt but now we are waiting until the 20th onward. I hope we can score another SECS or at optimum a MECS. This patterns was to be loaded with them after the 25-26.

Grade for winter so far is still an A for the longevity of cold and snowpack, and multiple snow falls.

High was 51 at LNK and 46 here

The temperature 31° the dew points are low and there is even some wind at times, but sitting out in the backyard on the deck in the sun in short sleeves is very comfortable. I’m not cold at all and it always amazes me how the human body can acclimate itself to heat or cold. The sun is definitely getting higher in the sky and it’s definitely having more of an effect..
