Now I'll acknowledge that NYC is a dump but this doesn't hold up logically.

First there is no way that giant snow pile melted from the first pic. It simply hasn't been warm enough.

Next, even if it was warm enough to melt (which it wasn't) the only way this could have happened is if dogs climbed on top of the snow pile, took a shit on it, and left, which dogs most certainly won't do.

Finally, the sidewalk looks way too clean to have been covered in shit like that but without any other residue or garbage leftover from the melting of a giant snow pile. There is no black stuff anywhere.

The only thing that makes sense is a bunch of geese landed there, took a shit all over the place (which is something they do) and then flew away.

This is what warm weather in a dry winter gets you
