Alcoholic. And ive been sober almost 4 years now. JB is a clown who got fired from Accuweather for being a weenie in the winter 2011-12 debacle.

He didn't get fired

Mike Barack gave him a payday

This winter has been cold and decently snowy but the missed NC blizzard and now this storm will tarnish any love for it. I stand by that. The potential for an epic winter was in our grasp but man some massive misses.

Well said. Also the unfun (glacier-like) snow cover was kind of a buzzkill.

Epic winters are epic for a reason... this one kind of died on the warning track.

I would give this winter an A at least down here in my neck of the woods for a winter weather enthusiast!

Below normal temps every winter month / Above seasonal average snow / A Storm exceeding 1 foot + another at 8.8")/ Top 10 record consecutive snow cover days with records back to 1894.

If I jackpotted a 10-spot when most had 4-6, it would definitely nudge things up for me, too.

Definitely an A

That one helped for sure. Great storm.

Was looking like an A but have to finish strong. This winter has been in a slump for almost a month. A couple big misses like mentioned earlier has taken the luster off. Need another double digit event to finish with an A. Around here a few nickel and dime events and one moderate event along with bitter cold doesn’t constitute an epic winter in my book. Need the epic storms to go with it.

I will go with a C+. I am around 25 inches so far and when the dust settles will end up around normal/average for my area. It was cold for long stretches and we had snow cover but I rate winter on snow storms and it that area we are lacking. I enjoyed the January 25th snow/sleet 10 inch storm But other than that kind of meh.

WELL BN TEMPS

AN SNOWFALL.

35 PLUS DAYS OF SNOWCOVER

A HERE.

BN EVERY MONTH SINCE NOVEMBER

And we didn't this all without a VOLCANO

LOL DUMBASS....

Its been great. People forget how hard it was to get a 10” + storm prior to 1993.

And furthermore, having 2’ melt three days after falling is just dumb and wasteful.

All the winter grading and lamenting has been moved here to banter. Main thread is for tracking even if it has gotten to the point of not worth tracking anything.
