Last year it was hot from the Solstice to the end of July with insane dewpoints. It hit above 100 where I was on June 25-26. That 5 week period of heat was enough to put the summer above normal.

Republicans in Congress are cowards. They don’t realize that the next Democratic trifecta will eliminate the filibuster on the first day to implement their Marxist agenda as they tried under Biden - and now those two people who blocked it are gone. Over 80% of Americans support voter ID per Gallup. The DHS remains shut down, and TSA agents are not receiving their paychecks as airport lines grow longer. Republicans are indifferent to the situation, and the only ones who will bear the blame are them because they did nothing to address the issue - like you know, acting like as the majority and passing common sense solutions? The blame game between the opposing party is no longer effective when one party holds the majority.

If they eliminate the filibuster, won't the Democracts just reverse everything the GOP does the next time they have a slim majority?

They can, but only through a trifecta, and it will be the people who voted them into office to blame as they got what they voted for. They cannot change the constituion without 2/3rd of states agreeing and they still need 2/3 of both chambers to modify it. Over 45 states don't have a properly instated filibuster and can end debate through a simple majority. It's only a federal problem
