There is a reason why Bernie Sanders a while back said illegal immigration and open borders was a Koch Brothers proposal. He also spoke English outside. He refused to leave the house speaking greek, because he was in america. Too many immigrants today couldn't give a shit about learning english.

My grandparents (mother's side) couldn't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving when they came here in the 60s. They basically adopted everything American immediately.

All my dad's side is still in Greece. Both my grandfathers were WW2 vets. Fought the Italians first, then the Naazis. Simple people but very smart and wise.

My mom's parents didn't receive a penny from the government.
