    If we can get the S vort out ahead of the N vort by just a couple of hours will allow this to come more N. Its not out of the realm of possibility. Newd this clipper to get out of the way 1st. Take it one storm feature at a time. If this clipper blows up a bit more it could make things interesting.

    From another board. Maybe still some hope...

    Based on East Asia Rule (EAR) the models aren't correctly depicting the 5th thru 12th time period. If the current modeling verifies for JAN 5-12, I am trying to think at the moment of a worse EAR failed correlation.

    Looks like a very solid event. Leaving NJ right after New Year's. So won't see the event fall but will see the snowpack.
