I am in the first part of it because this is a double squall. Impressive winds and the ground is whitening. What a great way to start after the new year isn’t it gentleman?

Woke up for the squall, didn’t disappoint. Nice way to start the New Year. “Some years it just wants to snow”. Maybe that’s this year.

Temperature went from 39 to 28 in just a few minutes.

About a half inch today and a very small whitening of the ground yesterday.

When is the last time snow fell on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day? It’s got to be a very long time.

I would think 1971 going into 1972.

in 1971 snow started about 2am New Years day...1976 had a little snow from 2am-5am New Years morning...1967 had snow New Years eve and ball drop...it ended early am New Years day 1968...

Temp dropped from 34 to 22 in one and 1/2 hours. Pretty impressive
