  • Yes. I'm back. The last 90 plus days were very difficult. Between my father and own health issues I needed a long break and medicine to help me get back on track. I'm here as long as I feel good.

  • It would be great if we could keep everything here. Threads are much easier to follow, and the continuity really matters. This has become the best weather forum on the internet—hands down—and I’d hate

This MJO wave is absolutely going to crush the Nina and put us in a moderate to strong Phase 7 then 8 and looks to roll to one as I showed Friday. IF this propagation happens then the pattern should respond to this with a trough over the east coast and a PNA ridge and N AO/NAO block over the Arctic/Greenland region

Massive squall here

Same here - 40 mph plus wind gusts and a trace on all colder surfaces - no warning no special statement nada. Visibility was 1/4 less for a few minutes. This is the 5th traceable snowfall this January so far.

I didn’t see this early but wow!

That is an intense mjo wave impulse. The 200 Chi map along with this are gonna make ty3 models struggle with the pattern. Phase 8 could be moderate to strong.

Euro is no good. ULL say north. Looks like aifs now. Unfortunately gfs camp is currently alone.

That H5 is too far north

unless we get some support at 00z, you should totally ignore the gfs
