DC to PB will see 40 to 60 inches from 1 23 to 1 25. Nothing north of there. Go.

  • Overrunning to coastal. Arctic temps. Euro just keeps getting better and better. KU inbound!!

  • I think we got the storm. We have 4 days to up the phasing/qpf

  • The good news is the GEFS mean phases the shortwave over the Midwest - very possible we just had a bad GFS run that will correct in 6 hours.

It's a little slower, which is good in this setup, and the low is about 80 miles west.

It won't matter. Only DC and central jersey sees real snow now.

Pac is pushing. Again. No phase.

being in southern Staten Island I'd be on the cusp of this storm...still six days away and it can trend either way...nothing wrong with another moderate snowfall...who cares what DC gets...unless you live there...

Feb 2010 cutoff from hell repeat

Congrats Ray

They have gotten every single storm since I can remember. How that doesn't bother you is beyond me

Southeastern new England left out of this no chance it comes up our way?

We don’t all jackpot. I live in snow hole USA. Here’s last year. Comical map.

Too many fucking models

Too many ******* models

I don't disagree with this. I remember when we had the MRF and ECMWF twice a day and the NGM and ETA in between and that was it.

I think when we started watching models Euro was once a day..the 12z run..MRF once a day 0z, went out 10 days..AVN which is now the GFS twice a day..5 days out..ETA and NGM twice a day

the models did very well in 1996...now its 30 years later and there is more confusion than not...

Would take a massive modeling miss at ultra close range to become a storm for anyone other than PB south.
