0z GFS is coming out now, but when you compare the 18z with the 0z NAM, the setup at 850mb is vastly different.

GFS has the 850 low centered off Montauk. NAM has the low centered over Buffalo.

Yea id rather have 10 plus sleet. That light fluffy snow compacts and the subliminates. Like im getting 2-4 from this most of it will evaporate by midweek

Snow that becomes wet and freezes lasts longer than powdery snow. The sleet would help with that.
