Kind of cool for anyone who like big sleet accumulation. NAM has over 1” LE of sleet falling over Colts Neck after 6” of snow. That’s the equivalent of roughly 4” of sleet on top of 6” snow - pretty historic intact if true

Hoping Nam still has a bump Or two south with sleet left in it.. think next couple runs could be bombs 💣

I would love to that much sleet fall on top of half a foot of snow. Would be crippling.

15Z SREF is nearly identical to 9z.

I'd be ok if that happened here, sleet takes forever to melt (especially when you're measuring it in inches).

I remember a March storm about 6-8 years ago (had a similar progression to this in regards to being modeled as a snowstorm and then slowly moving to a mix. Ended up giving parts of upstate NY and PA feet of snow) that had sleet on top of snow and despite some relatively warm weather afterwards it took weeks to melt.
