Cold hangs real tough.. I have to admit.. I see a very southerly trajectory of 850 winds.. moderate.. not too strong but still the cold air wins and 850s don’t surge in NYC metro.. as Joshua says.. massive fronto doing its job to keep the column cold enough.. I think the forcing is critical here to keep the good times rolling

The sleet at hr 51 here is fake. It’s a snow sounding 31/32 at 800.

The rain at hr 54 is also fake. That’s a sleet sounding volume is below freezing 825 on down

Cioffi is an excellent meteorologist. DT is very articulate and he’s funny too. That’s the best weather show on the Internet I watch it every night.

I will be watching the barrier Islands by Ocean Parkway and Captre. As long as they’re stay belowfreezing which they should I won’t be concerned. Whether we get sleet or freezing rain or both after the thump as long as it’s frozen it’s better than plain rain.
