some of these models have a long storm...I remember the January 12th, 1964 blizzard which was a 31 hour storm with about 0.05 le and 1" per hour during the Height of the storm...high winds with Temps in the teens...that storm measured 12.5" in NYC...snow was measured when the snow stopped...lets see if the weekend storm comes close to that one...some storms in the past yielded over 10" from a half inch of le...20 to 1 ratios...

the western NY lows are showing up on eps now too

i wonder what this is going to do to this thing

i've never seen a low in NY and off coast and so much cold and snow
