You got a weatherbell map by any chance?

Stormvista snow maps are untrustworthy.

The AI EPS have temps of between 35 and 40 degrees throughout the entire area during the storm.

I don’t have weatherbell . Snow maps like these are not bad in the this setup.

Verbatim it’s a wet snow Bomb in the mean.

I got almost 6" on Dec14th and @THE GREAT Ben Solo got 10" with a nao that was +1sd rising from a neg...the AO was +2sd...it was neg on the 9th...the pna was -0.5 and neg most of Dec...If it can snow under those circumstances in Dec, it can do the same in Feb...

edit...the mjo was in a better spot than the forecast for Sunday...by March 2nd it should be in a similar position...March comes in like a lion?

I'm talking about the AI EPS. Pivotal only has the regular EPS snow maps.

Thanks.

The only explanation is a few members give us like 20 inches at 32 degrees while the rest are close to 40 degrees and rain, resulting in a 4 inch mean with temps in the mid to upper 30s on the maps.

No arctic air so you'd need a perfect track and it bombing out in the right spot. Not to mention we have not had anything track like that in the last few years...

Icon gives ac rain showers

Hopefully we get something to hit before winter ends… otherwise this was just another overhyped/kick the can winter. Cold and dry does nothing for winter grade tbh

25”-35” snow with almost no rain during a moderate drought is nothing to poo poo. relax. It will snow again.

Crazy how pretty consistent AI is
