Central Park has gone 36 days without a fifty degree maximum, tied for 53rd longest streak all-time. Could get into top 30 streak all time.

from Dec 29th, 1968, to March 15th, 1969, NYC did not reach 50 degrees...I'm not sure if that's the record...

And your friend P. B. called Jan 15 - Feb 15 from early January. Not too shabby. Next period Feb 20 - March 10. Going to run this winter BN wire to wire November - March. Just crazy

If we don't get at least a moderate snowfall in Central Park on Monday, we are pretty much guaranteed a below normal snowfall year.

I found a longer streak...11/13/1880 to 2/10/1881...89 days...that's too many buildings and parking lots ago...

That is right, but it is 90 days inclusive.

We have already picked up 0.57" of much needed rain here in EN since last evening. We could see another 0.10" to 0.25" more this morning before it tapers off this afternoon. We still have on average 2 inches of snow on the ground and today will be our 35th consecutive day with snow cover. This is now the 10th longest stretch and 13th longest overall. We warm tomorrow into the upper 40's which may get rid of the last of the snow cover. Our well-advertised potential 14th winter event of the season looks to arrive on Sunday morning. How much remains to be seen but chances of a plowable event have increased for much of Chester County.

A beautiful day across the area before a major snowstorm impacts some of our area starting tomorrow morning through Monday midday. With snow tomorrow we may end up having snow cover last through the entire month of February and a Top 10 all-time stretch. Snow chances begin to increase toward dawn tomorrow with the heaviest potential snow being tomorrow night into Monday morning. Temps will fall below freezing during the storm tomorrow and will not get too far from freezing both Monday and Tuesday. We see a warmup to near normal temperatures for late February with highs in the low to mid 40's by the end of the week.

HECS incoming!

I think there is a decent event SECS, maybe low end MECS for some March 1-3 time frame and then we may be setting up a nationwide torch.

Not seeing AN temps around here thru first 10 days of March. Just wants to be cold, mid 30 ocean temps not helping warmth either nor will 2-3’ of snow cover.

This sure as hell does not look like a cold pattern to me.
