Balance of January and all of February with a Hint of March Storm Tracking Thread

Many of our snowiest winters end with a late March or early April snow storm. In 1996 I got 8 inches on April 10th in my hometown of Howell, NJ in SE Monmouth. The only time in my life I was sick of snow, was shoveling those 8 inches on April 10, 1996 lol.

Cold that time of the year is only worth it if it brings snow. I'll take snow any time of the year, including summer (even if it's impossible), but 40 degrees and drizzle is useless.

And your friend P. B. called Jan 15 - Feb 15 from early January. Not too shabby. Next period Feb 20 - March 10. Going to run this winter BN wire to wire November - March. Just crazy

I mean, at least out here, I don't have an ocean blocking warm fronts, so more warm fronts will go through, but you could still get a high pressure system to your north blocking the warm frontal passage.

That is why I hate spring. If that happens in the fall I'm fine with it since we are heading to the cold season. But once you know snow is done, there is nothing worse than all those spring days that are cool, windy, dreary, etc. Thankfully being a little West in NJ, I those backdoor fronts don't reach here at times.
