I reluctantly let my son drive-he does have some winter weather experience this year but 16 yr olds....they think they are hot *****

I thought I was hot shit when I was a teenager, but not in the snow, meaning I drove fast and crazy (I still drive fast, but less crazy), but I did respect the snow.

Yeah and delayed openings don't even cost a day or anything for the school system.

Exactly 1.25" here

Passed a car skidded off the road and two accidents in my usual 16 minute commute. An hour and a half costs the school nothing. Many roads were bad, some meh others just wet cause they salted the heck out of them. So they held HR for an extra15 minutes so everyone could get in, meanwhile 200 plus kids were late even after that LOL!!

Nice little event to top off the blizzard.

I once did 115 on the Pulaski Skyway can be used on that stretch. When are you going west from the Holland tunnel and before you get to Route 1&9.

2.2 here. Really nice event.

Another 1" plus for NYC Metro, Joshua land, and more South

Ben Solo may break 75" at this point

That's close enough that that could sneak up on everyone and give everyone 2-4 inches.

50 miles is doable even inside six hours.

Looks like a bit of an overperformer out this way. Eyeballing close to 2" here.

You are back in PA? When I left my house for work this morning I had 1.5" at home but it was still snowing.

@Tornadojay GPS took my off the first exit when I merged on to 87 from 287. It took me all back roads until I reached the Pearl River Pfizer. I think I saw you laying there injured, sorry, haha. Hope you are ok.

I stopped using GPS as much as I can now and rely mostly on Google maps w/streetview and just plan ahead.

The last straw was when the GPS took me on a minimum maintenance road out here.

Do you wipe your railings or something? I still have like 4" on mine from the big storm.

Yeah - left shortly after the blizzard ended. Roads were not much of a problem, especially with temps going above freezing during the afternoon.

I let my girls drive. Roads were totally covered at 645 when they had to leave. Thankfully they made it in just fine.

Been driving here for 2.5 years now and never hit much traffic since I leave early. I typically work from home on snowy days, but needed an office visit to reach my quota. I have no clue about the roads up here in NY and couldn't really plan ahead.

Another 1.5-2 inch here @dbc unbelievable

You don't have minimum maintenance roads there lol.

The only thing you have to do is make sure it doesn't take you downtown Paterson or something.

2” final total in Syosset.
