Marc 2017 was the last time NYC had a week of snowpack... 2015 came in with deep snow that lasted two weeks...you have to go back to 1993 for a week of snow on the ground in the middle of the month...

Looks like unless the SSW actually takes place. Any winter pattern is unlikely to happen.

It is going to be a good time to sit outside and have a picnic lunch or a barbecue. Warm enough in many areas not to wear a jacket, but without the biting insects.

I’m actually looking forward to it.

I find that suspect when compared to the airports...I guess it was a shaded area they made those obs?...
