And your friend P. B. called Jan 15 - Feb 15 from early January. Not too shabby. Next period Feb 20 - March 10. Going to run this winter BN wire to wire November - March. Just crazy

I find that suspect when compared to the airports...I guess it was a shaded area they made those obs?...

I was living in Pelham Bay the Bronx and I had the same ice pack/snow depth. There was a big discrepancy between what the Bronx in Manhattan got and what Queens and Brooklyn had. I had a Train job that I had to go down to Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn and there were so much less snow in ice there than there was in the Bronx that winter.

Nasty back door cold front on gfs in the long range for nyc north

There's a big high over SE Canada that really needs to be watched.

Only the GFS had it and now it is showing up on other models.

Agreed, minus the snow cover it’s gonna mostly be gone by the weekend. But crappy spring on deck with how cold water temps are

Cold back on gfs and euro

Anyone have the full storm radar loop?

Want to see what I missed from 1:30-7am

Went to bed with about 8” and woke up with 16 so clearly some great hours

Was a weird storm in that never got over 1.5”/hr here (that I witnessed, though that radar looks like 2+/hr over my hood during the wee hours)

Similar to 2016 storm. Had like 18 hours of 1-1.5”/hr to get to two feet

Love that site! Just was wondering if someone had it while I wait.

That site is epic, keeps me up sometimes at night reviewing storms

Seems to me we’ve had a huge increase in storms that produce 12”+, 24”+ totals. Whether that’s related to CC is up for debate, could also be random, but no doubt it’s occurring

I'm sure he will update his site with the new storm soon, it has the placeholder.

Yeah, not sure, but since the 93/94 winter, we have had so many big storms. Even with lull's in between, it still doesn't compare to much before at all.
