February 27Feb 27 We could get 1-2 Tuesday, but after that, it looks over. Doesn't mean we can't get a sneaky event, but it wouldn't be for a while, if at all.

Can’t ask for much more. I could give a rats arse about March. It melts a day later without cloud cover and cold but bonus inches are always good.
February 28Feb 28 I’m actually glad we got the HECS when we did. Give me 30 inches of snow and then a melt. All this sitting around would’ve started to get real annoying in the city.

Seems that a low off the southeast coast moved right to the 'benchmark.'the forecast was for snow flurries...the post office delivered mail that day...I didn't get mail until two days after this storm...another Dec 26th storm measured 18" in 1872...
February 28Feb 28 MJO running to Phase 7 and 8. SPV split and it looks to couple with the troposphere. One lobe going into E CAN and one over to Siberia. You aren't ending winter with this guy's. You'll have a second half of March winter if these happen. Around March 15hish is when this may kick in for a good 2 weeks.
