1 hour ago1 hr This year had some similarities to 1934...I looked at Lincoln Ne records and the last three days in May were over 100 degrees...NYC's hottest June temp was 101 in 1934...1933-34 was a la nina year going to closer to neutral in 1934-35...I can see NYC getting some early warmth in April...some developing el nino years had a 90 degree day in April...1976, 1977, 1991, 2009 and 2023 to name a few...
