Sunday at 03:28 PM2 days And if it was just that Miami reached the 30s, they've done that 3 times over just the last 3 years. January 2022, December 2022, and January 2023. Last time they went below freezing was in the 1980s. Their coldest temp is in the 20s.

Low temp was 36Btw I have acknowledged with many posts in here how cold we have been and how impressive our below freezing streak is and have argued against others who pick arbitrary cutoffs (like 4 inches of snow) to show some type of negative trend. But these are regional climate conditions, not global. I also follow a board about weather in Greece and Europe and it's been above normal there. Look at snowlover complaing about most of winter being an inferno out there with some exceptions here or there. It's one thing to talk about regional conditions. It's another to refer to the whole planet based on what's happening in our backyard. If you put a gun to my head I'd bet on an above normal global departure every single month until I die lol. You'd be suicidal to call for a below normal global month unless you know a giant asteroid is about to hit haha
Sunday at 03:37 PM2 days We start February as we ended January with well below normal temperatures. I am working on completing the overall Chester County summary for January but at least here in East Nantmeal this January was the 4th coldest and 3rd snowiest across the 23 years I have been recording weather observations at this location. This well below normal stretch of temperatures looks to continue for at least the first 10 days of February. Today will be our 9th straight day with below freezing high temperatures. We do moderate through Tuesday with our best shot at getting above freezing being Tuesday. The current NWS forecast has a high here in EN of 30 degrees. There could be a few light snow chances over the next week with the first potential on Tuesday night a more likely shot by Friday and another chance possibly by next Sunday. For those on Team Snow the good news is February is on average our snowiest month of the year with East Nantmeal averaging 13.3" of snow in a typical 2nd month of the year.

Lots of leaps....not a bunch of facts!

Lots of leaps....not a bunch of facts!I know you live in the only county in the United States that has seen no warming over the last 100 years. Congratulations lolBtw Europe has had accurate mercury thermometers for like 400 years. You know why the Dutch invented ice skates with metal blades like 600 years ago? Because their rivers used to freeze. Plus learn about proxy data. That's the only reason you know the Earth used to have warmer periods as well. But you have no problem accepting that as fact I bet!
