it didn't get worse

This storm feels like one of the more stubborn ones and if it does actually hit us (low chances right now) it will fit the similarities to our past KU storms where they were really hard to reel in.. it’s never easy.

It would be nice if the gfs actually led the way for once. Hopefully the nam begins to looks a bit more favorable if not tonight but tomorrow!

I hate this thing, it's always one fucking vort that screws things up

Is it that we lost the -EPO or by the time 1/31 - 2/1 comes around we're in the process of losing it? Not enough high pressure in Canada like we had last week which is allowing the Low pressure areas to pop up like this in the worst possible place at the worst possible time. Also our storm is too much of a pissant at that time frame when compared to the Canada one to overwhelm the Canadian vort and yank the trough north and west.

Maybe it'll speed up and dive into the backside of the trough...or slow down and let the ridge pump more.
