And your friend P. B. called Jan 15 - Feb 15 from early January. Not too shabby. Next period Feb 20 - March 10. Going to run this winter BN wire to wire November - March. Just crazy

Its thermals make sense with a low over WPA and no real high to the north, but the ICON has more issues than just thermals.

NAO also neutral so a hugger or inland track possible

Of course. I am not saying it's impossible, I just wouldn't use the ICON as the basis of that decision.

Thanks for this post. I thought for a second that VIRGAMAN was going to get rain, but luckily he's still getting a raging snowstorm while the rest of us rain.

Phew.

Little off topic Now I can see why some of you guys don't like steve @njnypaweather on x he just made a bold statement saying that next weekend. There won't be a major storm at all. What an idiot to say that over 7 days out. Even if the pattern doesn't show, it doesn't mean that something can't just spin up. Foolish.

Cold air is lacking so makes sense. Due for a rainer but a bummer if it happens we'll likely go a whole month with nothing to show for the cold
