Does today's storm help in any way for the Sunday/Monday storm?

The quicker it gets out the better

I told my wife 0 to 20, get/put the shovels away and spread/store the salt while I go get/not get the eggs.

Unusual set up for a possible mecs, with spacing between one system leaving and another developing.

in the ole days the forecast would be for some snow...that covers all the bases...

GFS either becomes the new King or gets put out to pasture; there is no middle ground. Line is drawn in the sand, SREFS are encouraging even for way up here. Shocked to see NWS PHL has 2-4" for during day Sunday with more at night already in the zone forecast.

I've never seen the SREFS this snowy this far out in their range

GFS already won. The fact that we are talking about a storm for anyone instead of a weak system scooting out to sea means the GFS won.

That is an enormous shift NW on the SREF compared to 3z

The last time I saw a big shift like this with the SREF was in Jan 2016 with Blizzard of 96. Sref was the 1st model to trend northward with the storm two days out

Dont the SREF usually move south as theyimage.thumb.jpeg.a8f066689846b002bae8722eceeb8f64.jpeg get closer?
