1 hour ago1 hr I could honestly see a repeat of Boxing Day 2010 where New Jersey gets hit the most with lesser amounts to the east, but the more east you go the stronger the wind. I could see myself getting 15 inches but with winds over 60 mph. I could see AG3 and sundog getting 20 and I can see Ben Solo getting 2 feet or more. No matter what it’s going to be an epic storm. Definitely the most intense since Boxing Day 2010.
1 hour ago1 hr The differences aloft between the gfs and euro are mostly seen at 700mb-850mb. The GFS has an earlier transfer of the mid-level low's to the delmarva which rapidly develops the SLP, whereas the EURO has maturation of these low's 6-12 hours later than the GFS (Monday morning). Ultimately, it comes down to who is more correct with the evolution and final track of the mid-levels. GFS left vs EURO right valid sunday night. Besides looking at the exact placement of the low, look at the differences in where the vorticity is placed.

1 hour ago1 hr The Hot Frank’s point regarding the euro, at 6z it was light years better aloft. Beautiful h5, h7 and 850 maturation. Its surface will respond.
1 hour ago1 hr What are ratios looking like with this one? Do the strong winds lead to mangled flakes and lower ratios?
