    That's fine. But then getting like 0.2 inches of precip over 3 weeks in the heart of winter is too steep of a price to pay.

    I'd rather moderate snowfall, full meltout within a week then moderate snowfall again on repeat than one big storm and then basically nothing for 3 weeks.
