Yes there was. I remember the strong winds on Long Island in 2006..problem was it was 60 2 days later and most of the snow was gone

yeah winds are usually overdone on models

Take away a few of those far east outliers and the snow mean would be even better

yeah within a few days it was gone here-torch winter with a nice storm to save it
