It just seems like these amounts are too excessive. This is still going to be a very big storm, but some of the amounts I’ve seen thrown around are insane for such a widespread area.

Yes, someone will get 2 feet. Perhaps even more but it’s going to be a relatively small percentage.. most people are going to get 12-15-18. Still a tremendous storm either way you look at it, but you have to be realistic.

    The SLP is jumping around all the over the place in the first 5 frames of the GFS. Does not look right at all.

Man, I really wish you could be here and experience it. These don’t come around often at all, but at least you can watch it on the board and read the obs and see the pictures and videos.

Biggest difference on hrrr looks like

Western cutoff in PA otherwise big hit

Not sure how bad the shadowing will be in the valley, though at 450' I'm not exactly in it anymore.

I see 100” a year up here, and I can still drive down if I really wanted to but I have work to do on the house and I don’t want to chance missing work Wednesday because I’m stuck down on the island.
