I will never forget this one week in June 1984. We had something like six or seven consecutive days of temperatures in the mid 90s and low temperatures in the mid 70s and I remember my high school was broiling and school was still in session because it didn’t end until late June but that was absolutely miserable. Sitting in those tiny school chairs and just sweating and and I’m not talking a little bit of sweating I’m talking about your whole body is soaked.
