Nobody that makes 80k lives in an area where houses cost 400k. I exaggerate but you get my point.

Those salaries are usually in places where houses are typically much more.

Was thinking 2 income household, each making 40k. Thats pretty much entry level. You can get a 425k dwelling around my way, buy maybe 3 beds 1 bath. I think people think they are getting brand new.
