there is nothing major wrong with me but there are many small things that make life a challenge at times...today its my knee...the knee that needs replacement...I'm holding out as long as possible for that ...

The doctor screwed up the first one, and actually, you can need more than two if you get them done young enough.

The average replacement knee lasts 20 years. So if someone gets a knee replacement at 50, they might need another at 70.

My mom put off hip surgery for years. She had it done at age 81. She was walking the same day. She is 83 now and walks fine. I've been walking/running around with a torn left ACL for about 15 years now. Somehow it doesn't ever really bother me. My right one which I tore 20 years ago and got fixed probably bothers me more than the not fixed one actually.
