None of these people actually know anything about the climate. They didn't study it at all.

I learned paleoclimatology as part of my geology degrees and even got a chance to look at some ice cores at Lamont Doherty.

He's not a fraud. He's just a talking head at this point.

He's referring to the Gulf Stream collapsing due to an influx of fresh water in the NW Atlantic from melting Greenland ice.

The stream is salinity and density driven so that's all correct. It has collapsed in that past (I wrote a paper on the Younger Dryas.)

But it's highly unlikely it collapses in the next 20 years. I have read no studies that indictate that at all. Maybe closer to the end of the century.
